FAQs

What types of materials are available in the studio?

1

Our supplies are donated and sourced second-hand, so items rotate frequently. You can count on supplies under the following categories: paper arts, drawing, painting, jewelry making, kids’ crafts, and fiber arts. Our inventory includes beads, fuse beads, collage materials, origami, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, paint pens, pastels, canvases, air dry clay, coloring supplies, yarn, crochet and knitting tools, looms of various sizes, fabric, felting materials, an art book library, and more!

Who is the studio for?

2

Anyone who wants to try a new craft, deepen their current skills, or explore their creativity. We provide supplies to people of all ages, although children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 and under are free!

Will someone teach me how to use the supplies?

3

Open studio time is meant for self-directed making, but we can generally help you get started. If a staff member has knowledge in a particular craft, they may be able to offer deeper assistance but it is not guaranteed. If you would like direct instruction, consider attending a skill-share or workshop.

How can I contact you?

4

You can reach us anytime via our contact page. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

Can I bring food and drink into the studio?

5

Yes, we have a lot of wonderful coffee shops and restaurants in Multnomah Village. Please just be mindful of other studio users and avoid strong smelling or messy refreshments.

Do I need to bring anything or have art experience?

6

Nope!
